Prairie Gold is the lovely foundation for all of our white wines. When we harvest our white grapes we ferment them to total dryness, eliminating all sugar for a dry Riesling or Pinot Grigio taste. We grow hybrid grapes that can endure our Midwest winters. Our hybrid grapes are low in tannin. This makes our dry wines much more mellow than similar wines with higher tannin content.
